The Position: As Manager Procurement - Aircraft Engineering within Emirates Engineering, you will be responsible for development of source plans, implementation of procurement strategies and for managing the ensuing commercial/contractual arrangements for a defined portfolio of commodities e.g. associated Cabin Interior products for our new and existing fleet. You will be required to achieve the lowest total cost of purchase/ownership and optimum terms & conditions to meet business requirements and to work in accordance with Emirates strategic procurement process and techniques.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree or Honours (12 3 or equivalent) Business and/or Engineering University graduate e.g.: Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 yrs airline experience in a technical procurement environment or equivalent engineering environment where the activities performed are similar / related in nature to those performed in the procurement environment.
- Experience in an Airline, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Maintenance Repairs Overhaul (MRO) organization.
- Previous experience with aviation line/base and engineering maintenance services would be a plus.
- The job holder must have a proven track record of analytical decision-making, contract management, product support terms, with a strong commercial acumen. He/she must have strong organizational and negotiation skills.
