An exciting opportunity to work in a world leading Development Facility whose work is undoubtedly pushing the technology boundaries in future aircraft design.

You will be an engineer of Graduate calibre with extensive post grad/qualified aerospace industry experience.

With a proven track record in aerospace structures design, preferably composites and broad experience in surfacing, you will also have knowledge of composite fabric laminating processes – tool preparation, clean room expertise and cure processes.

You will be a 'hands on' individual with composite processing experience and whilst having an appreciation of technical systems requirements would be advantageous, it is not essential.

You will have a good practical knowledge of workshop tools and equipment, be prepared to adopt a hands on approach to support design and manufacture of components.

With a good understanding of ‘concept’ through to ‘hardware’ processes is essential, sound project management skills and experience with budgetary control, along with the ability to write and create work instructions.

Knowledge of composite materials, their processing techniques, tooling and automation along with experience of working with various pre-pregs, resin infusion processes and thermoplastic processing would also be advantageous.

Knowledge and experience working with metallic structure could also be beneficial Project management skills and experience with budgetary control would also be useful, along with the ability to write and create work instructions.

Creative, innovative and resourceful, high in intellect and energy, you will have the ability to work across multifunctional teams in a matrix managed organisation.

A successful candidate will have a sound engineering background plus a minimum of 2 years practical experience in processing of composite materials.

Knowledge of composite materials, their processing techniques, tooling and automation an advantage.Experience of working with various pre-pregs, Resin infusion processes and thermoplastic processing would also be advantageous.

Experience in writing and creating Work Instructions.

Project management skills and experience with budgetary control would also be useful.

Knowledge and experience working with metallic structure could be beneficial.
