Cargo OCC Coordinator

Cargo OCC Coordinator   Cargo OCC Coordinator will be representing QR Cargo as a part of the key decision making team within the OCC to improve operational efficiencies and customer service in the QR network by centralizing and pro-actively monitoring the planning, payload and communication of irregular operations. Main duties include: ·         Ensuring punctuality/safety of QR operations for achievement of optimum utilization of Cargo Space on QR flights through efficient planning of space, monitoring payload, immediate connections and coordination with inter departmental personnel ·         Ensuring correct and timely two-way communication to all concerned (Ensuring that all information that may cause irregular operations is communicated to all concerned in a timely manner to ensure proper proactive actions plans can be developed. Ensuring affected airports and cargo space control team communicate regular updates) ·         Preparing and providing to management detailed briefings/updates/reports related to warehouse facilities, payload, flight upgrades/downgrades/cancellations/diversions ·         Constantly evaluating OCC/Cargo Operations processes and manuals and suggesting changes for improvement based on latest industry norms and standards. ·         Making bookings via OAL/Trucking companies and making use of  SPA contracts to offer satisfactory service to offline destinations ·         Coordinating QR AOG movements, which involves checking load ability and arranging charter operation up to final destination in cases where AOG part not loadable on QR. ·         Monitoring cargo movement and coordinating between QAS/QR/outstations in flight delay situations requiring special handling to ensure smooth movement of cargo. Qualification/Experience:

• Minimum A level or equivalent with Bachelors Degree in any discipline preferred.
• (5-6) years experience with (3-4) years in supervisor capacity for airline or reputed GHA

·         Knowledge of QR Conditions of Carriage; International Civil Aviation; cargo operations; safety and security  procedures in accordance with ICAO and IATA and local authorities.
