Office Manager: A Maternity Cover vacancy has arisen in the Facilities, Health, Safety & Environment Department for a Office Manager to run a busy office, support the Head of Department and to manage Contract Catering and Workplace Transport. This position, reporting to the Head of Facilities, is part of the Facilities Management Team that provides the cradle to grave support for buildings, property, engineering safety, general health & safety plus environmental related aspects of the my clients operations. The Office Managerr will be responsible for the effective and efficient administration of a busy Facilities Department. The range of duties will include Time & Attendance, Holidays, Petty Cash, Stationery, Diary Management, KPIs and Data Entry. The position also acts as a ?Help Desk? for initial enquiries to the Department. Applications are sought from personnel with a resourceful and flexible attitude, the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities whilst being able to fit into a hard working team. The successful candidate should be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high standards and a cheerful disposition. The Department is seeking an individual who will be a key part of the management team whilst being able to work to their own initiative when required. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to changing priorities, computer literate (especially using MS Outlook, Word and Excel), discreet and have had some exposure to contract management. The key skills and experiences required include excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, resourcefulness, confidence and an eye for detail.
