Business Operations Assistant / Office Manager / Office administrator.
My client requires an Office Manager with a "can do" attitude and strong personality who has worked in an engineering environment. Great opportunity to help expand this growing company, you will be the lynch pin of the team dealing with all staff, customers and suppliers. You will be involved in many duties, HR, Accounting, Marketing, general office duties, websites, spreadsheets, facilities etc. The team is currently quite small but with considerable growth plans. To succeed in this role you will have a positive approach and a personality to match. You will have worked in an Engineering environment and worked closely with engineering teams prbably in a mechanical or electrical environment. You will require strong office based ability, Excel, word, powerpoint plus any accountancy packages like Sage would be very useful. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Office Manager who has probably worked in a small engineering or mechnical environment to run the company office. The salary will be between 24 to 30k with the expectation that this can increase as the company develops. This is a very interesting sector with the possibility of foriegn travel. The company work within the aviation industry and some work is performed onsite at military or civil Airports around the world. You will be dealing directly with clients and will often be the ‘face’ of the company. Consequently, a high degree of professionalism will be expected from the selected candidate.
