The Qatar Airways Group Learning and Development Department has the responsibility to develop the skills, knowledge and beahviours of all employees of the Qatar Airways Group. This role is part of the non-Technical team which focuses on developing the management and supervisory skills along with the customer service approach throughout the network. Ultimately, it is through the development of these individual and group skills, knowledge and behaviours that Qatar Airways will continue to provide Five Star Service to our customers. We are looking for the right person who will be responsible for delivering impactful learning opportunities across the network in a variety of areas including management skills such as presentations and problem solving as well as the creating of an organizational wide approach to impacting the customer experience through Five Star customer service. At times, the right person could find themselves delivering a standard formal training session in Doha and at others, delivering a bespoke workshop designed against the needs of the business at one of the Regional centers' or at one of the more than 100 outstations. The right person for this role will hold a tertiary qualification from a recognized University, preferably in an HR related discipline such as Learning and/or Organisational Development. Around 5 years experience in creating, designing, and delivering training and facilitating bespoke workshops in a customer focused industry would be highly regarded. Exposure to Airline, Hotel, and the Hospitality industries will be an advantage. An ability to engage an audience, ask powerful questions and communicate to a diverse group of people is also important, but a passion to create a positive difference in a very dynamic and exciting environment is most important.
