Our customer is at the forefront of today's cutting edge Aerospace manufacturing industry.

With a global presence that offers a wide variety of composite component manufacturing solutions & aftercare products to an extensive list of customers that includes Airbus, Boeing & the MOD.

Due to an extensive period of growth & development they are seeking to appoint the services of a Production Support Stress Engineer to join their operation based in the South West UK region.

Description

Providing support to the A350 composite spar manufacturing and Fixed Trailing Edge assembly operations, by the disposition of non-conforming materials, components and assemblies.

The role incorporates elements of design using Catia V5 and PDM Link SSCI to assess non-conformances and provide repair solutions to production via the Airbus SAP PAC system.

A strong knowledge of composite manufacturing and assembly processes is also required, in order to implement repair schemes in a timely manner to align with production schedules.

Daily integration required with the customer to ensure full agreement of design proposals and to fully understand and further work / Interface tasks required with other RSP?s or suppliers.

Previous experience of carrying out concession work in a production environment would be an advantage and the candidate would ideally have held design signatory in a previous role.
