Salary: £54,540 to £60,925
Western Power Distribution is the electricity distribution network operator for the Midlands, South Wales and the South West. We deliver electricity to over 7.6 million customers over a 55,300 sq kms service area, through 216,000 kms of overhead lines and underground cables, and 184,000 substations.
Our Helicopter Unit is the market leader in the provision of helicopter services to distribution network operators and we have a vacancy for a Chief Engineer.
Leading a small team of experienced helicopter engineers the Chief Helicopter Engineer is accountable for the overall control and administration of the engineering organisation of the Helicopter Unit, ensuring that all maintenance of aircraft and associated equipment and records are to the standard required by the CAA.
As a minimum you must have EASA Part 66 B1.3 and C Licence with Bell 206 & EC135 series Type Endorsements. In addition candidates must have held a similar position within an approved organisation.
