Senior Avionics Design Engineer (Senior)
Our customer is the UK's leading independent aerospace company, specialising in aircraft maintenance, modifications and support services. Located at its airport HQ in Cambridge, plus with offices in Australia, Canada and Netherlands they are perfectly placed at the forefront of today's Aerospace industry.
Due to a period of growth they are seeking to appoint the services of a Senior Avionics Design Engineer to join their operation based in rural Cambridgeshire.
Main Responsibilities:
*Providing specialist avionics design knowledge and guidance to junior engineers and other departments without which the Company could not provide feasible and cost effective designs.
*Senior Engineer for managing projects including project plans/timescales and design documentation.
*Required to maintain company capabilities and level of design expertise available to potential Customers during bid stages and providing Customer confidence and satisfaction of expertise being used on projects.
*Design engineering solutions for integration of legacy and modern avionics systems
