They are seeking to appoint a Compliance Variation Engineer ? Office of Airworthiness to join their operation based in Zurich.


Your main tasks will include:

? Coordination of all company tasks and activities with the Civil Aviation Authorities /Agency with regards to Design, Production and Continuing Airworthiness Management
? Ensure the renewal of EASA Part 21 and Part M certificates
? Advice of company departments with regards to civil aviation regulations and requirements as well as supervision of the correct implementation and use of those regulations
? EASA Design Organisation according to Part 21J
? EASA Production Organisation according to Part 21G
? EASA CAMO Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation according to Part M Subpart G & I
? Obtain and track regulations, decisions, recommendations and information issued by the respective Civil Aviation Authorities/Agency
? Coordination of statements with regard to new or revised civil aviation regulations, which are applicable for the company
? Liaison with and support of Civil Aviation Authorities / Agency during audits of our facilities
? Mandatory requirements process (operators? maintenance management)
? Mandatory Occurrence Reporting related to EASA Part 21 and M activities
? Compliance Verification and Approval of aircraft repairs and modifications / STC

The successful candidate has the following profile:

? Engineering degree
? At least 5-7 years engineering experience, ideally in aircraft structures, stress engineering, structures and damage tolerance analysis of metallic and non-metallic materials
? At least 3 years of experience in Design, Compliance & Verification of aircraft repair and modification
? Proven Project management skills
? Fluent in English and German
? Design, Compliance & Verification or Certification experience is an advantage
? Sound Knowledge of and experience in interpretation of regulatory requirements
? Production Organisation and Continuing Airworthiness Management knowledge are appreciated.
