We are currently seeking several qualified persons in the Production Planning field for a project with our client Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg. As Manufacturing Engineer in the aerospace industry you will be primarily responsible for developing production concepts in aircraft manufacturing.
Description
- new and serial planning of component parts and assemblies
- analysing work packages and folio management
- creating production orders
- ensuring availability of material and production document and handing them over to Production
- identifying production issues and initiating containment actions
- advising national and international customers and suppliers, including monitoring and risk analysis of delivery performance
- consulting and supporting the Design and MAP departments regarding the development of economically and technically optimal solutions
- involvement in national and international projects
Requirements
- degree in Aviation, Mechanical Engineering or Economic Engineering
- alternatively completed vocational training with qualification as Technician and many years of relevant professional experience
- at least three years of professional experience in production planning in the aerospace industry
- fluency in German and English
- good knowledge of MS Office and SAP and experienced user of CATIA V5
- prior experience in project work and design consulting is advantageous
- knowledge of MTM and REFA desirable
