Our client is an innovating and pioneering UK based aviation design consultancy approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Ministry of Defence (MoD).
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Aviation Structural Design Engineer has arisen with a term of 6 months plus. Your typical duties will include the installation of updated flight instruments as well as the overhaul of Radar, Voice Data Recorders, Emergency, Display, Warning and Flight Management Systems as well as providing technical guidance and expertise. An engineering/aerospace qualification or a strong engineering background in a mechanical or electrical process is desired. Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills, Experience of Auto CAD systems will be required.
You must be also currently residing in the UK and able to pass UK security clearance (EU national)
