Aeroprofessional are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a Technical Engineer – Procurement in their quality department. This particular department of the business satisfies the company need to support sales through the management of a global supply base in order to help maintain the company as a market leader in supply chain management.
Typical duties involved with this role are listed below:
- To support the commodity team in the sourcing of new and existing part/products with technical knowledge at both product and manufacturing level
- To develop and maintain parts libraries for commodities
- Provide the local point of contact as the technical expert for your commodities with individual part details
- Conduct and validate relevant assessments including manufacturing capability for new and existing supply chains
- Educate and coach suppliers in the application of relevant specifications and customer requirements
