Typhoon Avionics Technician

The purpose of this job is to maintain Typhoon aircraft systems in order to ensure that continuing Airworthiness activities on Typhoon aircraft are carried out in accordance with company Saudi Arabia SALAM Maintenance Organisation Exposition and associated Quality Management Systems.
The following qualification and experience are essential for this post
The incumbent must have been awarded with a Job-Type Typhoon 'Q' Annotation.
Qualified to HNC or recognised equivalent level in an Aeronautical Engineering or related subject.
Successfully completed a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship or similar practical aircraft maintenance training programme delivered by a NATO air force or approved aircraft maintenance training provider.
Experience as a Category B 1 Licensed aircraft maintenance technician or military equivalent.
Experience working as an Avionics tradesman conducting Line Maintenance on fast-jet aircraft on an Operational military flying unit in a NATO air force.
The job holder should have the following background:
It is essential that the job holder has been awarded with an Avionics job-type Typhoon 'Q' Annotation.
Currently working in an aircraft maintenance organisation conducting or supporting Line (Forward) Maintenance of military fast-jets (Typhoon preferred).
Demonstrate experience working as a Mechanical certifying technician conducting Line (Forward) Maintenance on a busy, military operational flying unit.
Fully conversant with European Aviation Safety Agency aircraft maintenance regulations or military Equivalents such as UK MoD Defence Standard 05-1 30.
Experience working in a NATO air force maintaining Mechanical systems on military aircraft.
Experience conducting Line Maintenance of aircraft in a Gulf Coast Country.
The Job Holder is accountable for the following:
Performing maintenance activities on Typhoon aircraft.
Ensuring that all personnel engaged in activities in his Area of Responsibility follow the correct practices and observe safety precautions thereby complying with the requirements and
Limitations detailed in the Salam Support Safety Case Report.
Ensuring that no one is exposed to any unnecessary or uncontrolled risk in his Area of Responsibility, as far as is reasonably practicable.
Performing maintenance activities in accordance with a continuing airworthiness and maintenance governance framework.
Perform good husbandry practices.
Perform FOD control measures as directed by management.
Comply with Safety Management Systems and Maintenance Error Management Systems.
Performing aircraft handling and flight line activities when required.
Completing any other reasonable duties or requests made by appropriate line managers.
