NPAS is a national air support service comprising the Police Air Support Units of England and Wales with West Yorkshire Police being lead Force.  As part of its commitment to delivering the National Police Air Service, West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit an Aviation Quality Engineer.

The successful candidate will support the Aviation Quality Assurance Manager in the management of the NPAS Quality Management System, to ensure compliance with JAR OPS 3, BCAR A8-23 and A8-25 requirements.  

We are looking for candidates with a Quality Assurance background, who have worked within aircraft maintenance or an airworthiness environment.  

You should have a working knowledge of auditing and have the ability to use a range of relevant software solutions.

You will need excellent communication skills including the ability to prepare and present specialist reports and training to a range of NPAS Stakeholders.

This is a challenging role where you will be expected to travel throughout England and Wales and provide an on-call service outside of normal office hours, for this reason you must have a full current UK/European driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
