Serco provide Air Navigation Services to a wide range of aviation contracts throughout the Middle East. We are currently looking for highly motivated, qualified and experienced Air Traffic Controllers to join us in a  multicultural environment based in Dubai, the aviation hub of the Middle East. What we are looking for:

Dubai International Airport provides a challenging and complex environment with operations experiencing a steady growth of traffic estimated at  about 14% per year. We are looking for ATCOs that will thrive on the challenge of delivering our ATM 2020 Strategy and share our drive and vision towards making  Dubai International Airport not only the busiest but also the best airport in the world.

We are looking for ATCOs that have a proven track record in directing traffic in a Tower at a busy International Airport and who can cope with working in such a complex and demanding airport.

We are currently recruiting  5 tower rated air traffic controller officers (ATCOs) that who would be responsible for providing assistance in the operational day-to-day provision of ATC operations at Dubai International Airport. The role would also include performing on the Job training(OJT) of UAE and international air traffic control trainees. ATCOs and UAE national ATC cadets.  The role will report into an ATC Watch Manager.



A passion to strive for continuous improvement in ATC performance in a fast growing air traffic control environment

A Tower rating (ICAO or FAA)  with previous experience from a recognized International airport with similar or higher traffic levels than Dubai International Airport.


An OJT certification/rating and training experience of multicultural groups;

Having an Approach rating would be desirable but not essential;

Any other qualifications such as an examiner’s endorsement would be an advantage

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to Dubai for assessment and the successful candidates would be expected to join on August 18th 2013.
