NPAS is a national air support service comprising the Police Air Support Units of England and Wales with West Yorkshire Police being the lead Force. As part of its commitment to delivering the National Police Air Service, West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit an Aviation Logistics Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate procurement, ordering, receipt, storage and dispatch of all aviation stores and tooling. You will ensure that aircraft can be maintained and dispatched within engineering timescales and that stores procedures are compliant within strict Civil Aviation Authority documentation policies.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a stores environment and competent in the use of computer systems such as Microsoft Office along with good numeracy and literature skills.

You must be prepared to travel in line with work requirements, hold a full current UK/European driving licence and be physically capable of handling heavy items.
