Senior Manager-Component services

Operating from a purpose built facility based in the Middle East; the opportunity for a Senior Manager with an unrivalled Component Services background has become available
Plan, direct and control all Production Planning and Control requirement needed to support Component Repair and Overhaul in the company and ensure that all Production, both mandatory and scheduled are cost effectively available at the right time to meet the scheduled and unscheduled inputs.
Provide leadership across the division for continuous performance improvement, effective measurement of performance and implementation of corrective actions, workforce engagement, employee involvement, and leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1 Leadership Responsibilities
? Build a cohesive team of production employees, closely integrated with other departments/sections
? Create a Positive working environment with all Management & supervisors/lead man
? Ensure all compliance activities are performed.
? Increases margin growth utilizing Six Sigma/Lean tools and ensures that productivity projects and initiatives are successfully executed.
? Manages approximately 60 staff
? Actively develop, teach/train and provide performance feedback to all employees
? Drive strategies including succession Planning and career development
2 Strategic Responsibility
? Ability to manage within a highly matrix organization
? Provide strategic direction for all integrated activities
? Develop a structure to drive an effective goal deployment process that aligns with companies objectives
3 Financial Responsibility
? Drive team to achieve / surpass financial commitments
? Drive functional excellence within all functions including Operations, Material Management, Quality, Health and Safety EASA/FAA/UAE-GCAA (regulatory compliance)
? Manage capacity ? to achieve TAT, on time delivery
? Ensure Cost, Quality and TAT goals are met.
? Integrate Six Sigma/Lean tools to continuously improve process yields, drive shop floor productivity
? VOC feedback to improve quality ? (Customer satisfaction)
The holder should have a minimum qualification and work experience as follows:
? University degree in related field or equivalent.
? Significant practical experience in Production Planning Management.
? Significant experience in a Supervision position associated with Material Management functions.
? Professional command of English is a must.
? Knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
Knowledge, skills and Experience:
? Responsible for all aspects of the Overhaul Workshops management.
? Extensive planning, controlling, innovative and problem solving skills required working to tight time scales.
? Close liaison and planning with other departments, customers, outside suppliers etc. as required in order to meet objectives.
? Works in accordance with professional industry standards and wide scope of options.
? Develop, recommend and implement rules, regulations and procedures for his department within the policy and guidelines laid down by the CEO and in line with the Company?s rules and procedures.
? Work tasks accomplishments are subject to the acceptable norms and standard of the industry.
? Extensive internal and external contacts at all levels.
? With other airlines, clients and vendor organizations.
