Value Stream Manager - Client Services
Location: Whiteley, Hampshire
As a Client Services Manager (internally known as Value Stream Manager) you will be responsible for managing customer satisfaction, quality, responsiveness and delivery, cost standards, lead time and inventory reduction in a manufacturing environment, whilst developing and implementing the client services strategy.
This is a broad and varied role in which you will need to ensure that all KPI objectives are met through leadership, training and the utilisation of key indicators for improvements. You will develop the Client Services Value Stream into a standalone revenue and margin generating business, delivering world class service to customers.

As a Client Services Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
Taking a lead in the deployment of a Standard Operation Framework (SOF) tools relevant to the Client Services Business
Deploying their SOF for Supply Chain aimed at improving materials management and procurement practices
Providing commitment and acceptance on Customer requests for support and repair and delivering to these commitments
Reviewing and presenting the Value Stream response to forecast demand for repairs, rollovers and field support including material, RCCP and inventory forecasts. Working with the Operations Director to develop planning methods and organisation that support Customer expectations on support and turnaround
Ensuring medium and long terms plans are in place to ensure business and customer satisfaction objectives are met
Acting as Lean Six Sigma Champion within the area, ensuring the deployment of 5S and Standard Work to all levels, checking compliance and taking corrective actions
What they will be looking for in you
The ideal candidate for this role will be educated to degree level and have experience of managing a value stream or production cell team within a lean manufacturing environment. You should also have demonstrable experience of implementing advanced planning and contracting techniques in an aftermarket environment.
This role requires an organised and articulate leader with the ability to think laterally in difficult situations, whilst taking into account all stakeholder perspectives. A natural problem-solver, you should be considered in your approach and have the ability to foster a culture of positive change, development and delivery throughout your team.
