Senior Stock Controller
Our customer works in very close partnership with the MOD.
Due to a period of significant growth they are seeking to appoint a Senior Stock Controller to join their operation based in Oxfordshire.
Purpose of the Role:
To supervise the administration of company and PSC inventory at the MOB and deployed locations, in support of the Fleet Engineering Department and in accordance with EASA Part 145 and industry regulatory requirements.
Essential job holder qualifications & experience
Proven track record in a Part 145 aircraft spare parts storekeeping role or 5 years? experience in a high technology storekeeping role.
Supervisory experience in a technical logistics environment.
Proficient in computerized storekeeping systems.
Operational purchasing experience within an airline or MRO environment.
Proficient in SAP transacting.
Experience of technical stock auditing.
Experience in MOD logistics environment.
Job description responsibilities
Be responsible for day to day workload progression, supervising Stock Controllers as necessary to achieve required Service Levels.
Be responsible for ensuring that aircraft parts and material are processed in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Assist company Logistics Management with process implementation and optimization.
Support Continuous Improvement initiatives within the Logistics Department.
Be responsible for receipt and quality inspection of serviceable aircraft parts and material.
Ensure management of aircraft parts and material, to include stock audits, rotation and shelf life control.
Ensure coordination of pre-kitting of aircraft spares and tooling for scheduled maintenance inputs.
Issue serviceable aircraft parts, material and tooling to Aircraft Engineers.
Deploy and recover fly-away packs to and from deployed locations.
Inspect and dispatch unserviceable aircraft parts for repair, overhaul or servicing.
Perform duties associated with hazardous material control and handling.
Maintain SAP records for company and PSC inventory at the MOB and deployed locations.
Maintain storage area security, to include storage of restricted military equipment.
Be personally responsible for engaging in all facets of the role in line with the requirements of the company SMS, Quality and Environmental Management Systems to provide a safe and efficient outcome to all that you do. This Includes maintaining awareness of the company safety and quality policies and the hazard analyses applicable to your tasking.
