The Position:
Implement Revenue Optimisation (RO) policies and maximising revenue for the region utilising Origin and Destination, Pricing and Inventory Management tools to achieve optimum revenue. Achieve defined RO Key Performance Indicators - Yield, Route profitability, seat factor and market share and coach regional teams in development/implementation of new decision support systems. Analyse market trends that influence Emirates' commercial performance, provide network-wide pricing recommendations that optimise corporate revenue, route yield and profitability.

Job Outline:

? Implement the agreed Revenue Optimisation strategy for Emirates that includes the integration of Origin and Destination management, Pricing and multi-channel sales strategies, revenue targets, yield targets, flight management targets for the assigned region. Support the Sr Manager and direct the regional RO team in regards to strategy.
? Evaluate trends in market conditions using information available from various sources, including market intelligence reports relative to competitor activities, political/economic trends/industry development and drive regional route profitability encompassing optimum cabin/class/point of sale mix. Establish analytical methodology to support new routes during the launch phase to align with Planning revenue/seat factor estimates.
? Interface market share, market intelligence and strategic analysis to optimise demand forecasts accommodating network capacity expansion and develop comprehensive passenger fare proposals, in all classes and by fare types for 12 months.
? Ensure optimal revenue is generated from the points of sale responsible for, at acceptable yields and maintain network seat factor at 80% across 12 months with key focus on weak demand periods and taking proactive measures to overcome the shortfall.
? Optimise revenues by developing segmentation strategies across all Origin and Destinations, especially new routes, using processes, procedures and controls related to Pricing and Origin and Destination forecasting and use detailed fare base tracking of complex / multi-gateway markets to establish global best practice that can be applied to sales areas.
? Develop trade-up structures by season using the optimal number of booking classes, and test price elasticity within fare structures. Develop price monitoring mechanisms of competition and develop proactive measures to align Emirates' fares/products in line with the available fares in the market.
? Ensure prices are correctly positioned covering all relevant market segments verses competitor carriers and are in alignment with company Yield/Seat Factor requirements. Direct Pricing/Revenue Management strategies in line with commercial objectives.
? Implement price elasticity modelling to optimise and enhance flights with weak demand forecasts to protect route/Origin and Destination yield. Undertake exhaustive evaluations and analysis of passenger pricing structures, system requirements, etc. and develop and implement competitive passenger pricing strategies, products, programs and systems which support corporate revenue objective.
? Evaluate; recommend structures and implement contractual pricing for corporations which secure and optimise their travel spend in favour of Emirates. Develop and implement policy relative to free baggage allowances and excess baggage rates that optimises revenue generation from this source whilst maintaining market share and passenger volume.
? Assist Sr Manager RO to manage and drive analysts' team ensuring efficient implementation of RO strategies and operational mechanisms. Develop staff through PM (Performance Matters) setting clear objectives to achieve optimal performance.

Experience and Qualifications:

Qualifications:
? Degree or Honours (12 3 or equivalent)
? Degree in mathematics/statistics or related to transportation or economics.

Experience:
? Commercial/Sales. Revenue Optimisation 10 Years
? Experience in Revenue Management in the airline industry of which 5 years are in Pricing roles with experience in Revenue Management techniques- pricing & capacity management.
? Experience in PROS Origin Destination system will be an advantage.
In depth knowledge of IATA tariff, Ticketing and Revenue accounting.
