HEMS LINE PILOT – YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) is an independent charity providing two rapid response helicopters across the Yorkshire region, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.  We are seeking to recruit a well-motivated individual capable of working alongside a small team of medical professionals to deliver a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service in association with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust.  As a minimum you will possess a CPL(H) with at least 1500 Pilot-in-Command hours on aircraft, of which 500 will be in helicopters gained VMC overland with significant low flying experience, and 20 hours PIC at night.  Based initially at Leeds Bradford International Airport but relocating to a new base near Wakefield later in the year, you will be commanding an MD-902 Explorer and responsible for key decisions while operating within a challenging environment.

If you have the enthusiasm necessary to become part of this rewarding operation then please e-mail or call with your expression of interest for an information pack and application form to Mrs Jill Pukacz at j.pukacz@yaa.org.uk  or 01422 237900.
