Boeing B737NG Line Captain

Our Client, Xiamen Airlines based in Xiamen China, requires for immediate employment thirty B737NG Line Captains.

These positions are also open to all Boeing EFIS aircraft qualified candidates.

Requirements

Candidates must:

 

 

- hold a recognized airline pilot license with a captain type rating on the B737 NG or EFIS (3/4/500) family;

 

- have at least 5,000 hours total time;

 

- have at least 2,000 hours total PIC and FO time on multi-crew, multi-engine jets;

 

- have at least 500 hours as PIC on the B737 NG or EFIS (3/4/500);

 

- hold a Class 1 medical and with a least three months of validity as of the joining date;

 

- have flown the aircraft within the last 12 months;

 

- be age 55 or less as of the joining date;

 

- have no history of incidents or accidents;

- have an ICAO English level 4 or above qualification indicated on the pilot license.

Candidates who hold a Being EFIS (B737-3/4/500, B747-400, B767 and B777) captain rating who meet the above requirements (with the exception of the PIC time on the B737NG) are also acceptable on a case-by-case basis.

Airline will provide candidates who meet the above requirements with recurrent or conversion training under a bond agreement.

The remuneration package

Our client offers an employment contract of three years, renewable for another term of three years, with very competitive benefit package, including:

Commuting captains will receive a remuneration package (including base salary, allowances and bonuses) 15,700 US $ after tax average over three year period of service and 17,200 US $ tax free averaged over a six year period of service.

Non-commuting captains will receive a remuneration package (including base salary, allowances and bonuses) 16,600 US $ after tax average over three year period of service and 18,100 US $ tax free averaged over a six year period of service.

Detailed remuneration, allowances and bonuses are detailed below:

A) For commuting captains:

- for 150 block hours per two calendar months, a monthly salary net of Chinese taxes: year 1, 11,500 US $, year 2, 12,500 US $, year 3, 14,000 US $ and year 4 and beyond, 14,000 US $.

 

- overtime pay at 200 US $ net of Chinese taxes for block hours above 150 hours per two months;

 

- a six weeks on/two weeks off schedule;

 

- five weeks on / three weeks off rotations are offered after one year of service.

 

 

 

B) For non-commuting captains:

- for 75 block hours per calendar month, a monthly salary net of Chinese taxes: year 1, 12,400 US $, year 2, 12,900 US $, year 3, 13,900 US $ and year 4 and beyond, 14,900 US $.

 

- overtime pay at 200 US $ net of Chinese taxes for block hours above 150 hours per two months;

 

- with thirty days of paid vacation per twelve months of service.

 

 

 

C) For commuting and non-commuting captains, the following bonuses will be paid:

 

 

 

- a performance bonus net of Chinese taxes of: after year 1, 12,000 US $, after year 2, 14,000 US $, after year 3, 16,000 US $ and after year 4 and beyond, 18,000 US $ for each year; the bonus is paid at the end of every six month period of service.

 

- a yearly additional bonus net of Chinese taxes of 10,000 US $ depending on the financial results of the Company (Note that since its founding 23 years ago, Xiamen Airlines has always been profitable).

 

- a loyalty bonus net of Chinese taxes of 30,000 US $ paid at the end of the second contract period (at the end of year six).

 

- a lodging allowance net of Chinese taxes of 7,000 Yuan (approximately 1,100 US $) per month;

 

- a yearly travel allowance net of Chinese taxes of 6,000 US $;

 

- seven day paid sick leave per year;

 

- five day paid compassionate leave per year;

 

- life insurance coverage;

 

- medical insurance coverage in China. Crew member can subscribe to extra medical coverage for which Xiamen Airlines will pay 50 % of the cost to a maximum of 1,300 US $ per year;

 

- free local ground transportation between designated pick up points and Airline main operation base;

 

- ID travel privileges on Xiamen Airlines as per Airline rules;

 

- Six weeks on / two weeks off rotations are offered;

 

- Five weeks on / three weeks off rotations are offered after 18 months of service.

 

A three year renewable contract is offered.

Crew Member Support in China

AeroPersonnel provides the best Expat support in China. This support is available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week in English and Chinese. It starts during the screening process and the induction process. It continues during your full period of service in China. It services international airlines and corporate aviation operating in Shanghai. It is very experienced in servicing the needs of expats in China.

AeroPersonnel/FASCO representatives will be waiting for you at the airport on the date of your arrival in China. They will personally escort you every day of the screening process. They will be there again when you report for work and will assist with your induction with Xiamen Airlines. They will also be there during the full duration of your period of service with the Airline.
