Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor
British Airways
Heathrow, West London
Competitive salary

With a globally recognised brand and one of the world’s largest fleets, British Airways is the ideal place to develop your career. This role offers you an exciting opportunity to enhance your technical skills while fulfilling your leadership and people management potential. You’ll provide supervision and technical management to a team of up to 25 colleagues dedicated to engineering our future.

Overseeing a wide range of maintenance activities – both team based and individual – you’ll ensure the highest standards of ‘airmanship’ are upheld. You’ll drive performance and share expert technical guidance in order to achieve quality, performance, safety and cost targets. You’ll actively coach and develop your people. We’ll expect you to work in a closely coordinated way with engineering operations teams. And as ours is a culture of continuous improvement, you’ll also enjoy the opportunity to implement business changes.

You’ll bring to the role a strong understanding of commercial aircraft maintenance. Ideally, you’ll hold both EASA B1 and B2 licences. Your application must be supported by two aircraft type endorsements – preferably Boeing 747/767/777/787 or Airbus 319/320/321/380. The ability to hold aircraft restricted zone access is also essential.

Passionate about the aviation industry and British Airways, you’ll be an ambassador for quality with strong focus on customers and demonstrable commercial awareness. Equally effective working within a team and leading one, you have proven communication skills, with a flair for everything from making presentations to coaching and training.
