Real-Time Consultants are proud to be partnering with one of the worlds largest suppliers of components and systems in the aerospace sector. They are suppliers into almost every aerospace platform and are supplying to nearly all programs. As a direct result of the award of new projects, there operation based on the South Coast is now looking for a new Supply Chain Manager.

This is a key role within the business where the successful Manager will manage all related functions including materials planning & scheduling, direct & indirect material purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, shipping & receiving.

Experience of managing current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and suppliers ensuring the capabilities and capacities of requirements are managed effectively is an essential part of this role as is the ability to evaluate supplier performance, operational performance and materials costs. Expertise with the evaluation of potential new suppliers is also a pre-requisite.

A detailed knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts is required as is a full knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and many years experience in a management role ideally in the aerospace sector.
