Job Purpose
 
To manage one of the below revenue management disciplines (i.e. Flight, Pricing, Demand)   to ensure revenue per available seat kilometre and yield is maximised and EK’s competitive position is maintained on a regional and network basis. Ensure and maintain accurate forecasts through the formulation of market analysis and strategies facilitating pro-active decision making in offering/withdrawing prices and inventory thus optimising network revenue. Develop and maintain expertise around revenue management principals and techniques, and propose innovative ideas to further enhance application of revenue management.
 

Demand Analyst

•Perform comprehensive market analysis to forecast POS, OD and RBD demand for the associated sales regions.
•Ensure market demand is mapped accurately and timely within the PROS OD system to drive network optimization.
•Ensure market demand and trends are communicated and understood by the RO Revenue and Inventory Steering team to drive inventory control and therefore optimizing the network and sales revenue performance.


Pricing Analyst

•Perform comprehensive evaluation and analysis of all individual and group pricing proposals received from Sales regions and local offices.
•Evaluate and develop local corporate deal frameworks to ensure Emirates competitive position within the corporate travel market.
•Ensuring pricing structures are continuously monitored, benchmarked and develop to maintain a competitive price position Inventory Analyst.
Inventory Analyst
•Achieve seat factor and revenue factor targets through the control of overbooking and class-mix.
•Monitor holiday traffic and group bookings on all future departures to ensure that optimum seats are protected for high yield passengers.
•Manage flight booking and overbooking profiles whilst maintaining an optimal class and traffic mix for the allocated flights.

Qualifications & Experience
•Honours Degree in one of the following subjects Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business or Logistics and Transport.
•5 years' experience with an international airline, of which 3 years were spent in inventory management, demand modelling, fares, tariffs, ticketing, or other revenue streams related to the aviation industry.
•Experience in the use of PROS or other O&D systems and methodologies is preferred.
•Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
•Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills and proven ability to work with people at all levels and across different cultural boundaries.
•PC literate, exposure to office automation environment.
•Analytical skills, ability to perform statistical analysis of various business situations for revenue enhancement.
•Knowledge of procedures for establishing passenger fares and passenger proration methodologies essential.
