Head of Revenue Management
In support of the company's planned expansion in 2014 the important role of Head of Revenue Management is now available with our Client Airline. The Head of Revenue Management will assume full responsibility for managing and growing the company's revenue base, with specific focus on designing pricing strategies and optimising seat inventories across the route network.
Role and Responsibilities:
Produce, submit and present the annual fare revenue budget;
Develop a solid understanding of the demand characteristics across each route in the network;
Manage, motivate and mentor the Revenue Management Team to deliver the budgetary targets and maximise total revenue;
Design successful route revenue strategies and direct tactical actions to correct any revenue variance to budget;
Produce a suite of management information and analysis for tracking revenue progress and route performance;
In conjunction with the Marketing Team, design route and price promotions, with a view to achieving the required price/volume mix;
Manage the route fare and tax structures, with constant attention to competitor price offerings and market changes;
Support the Network Development team with projections and forecast inputs to business cases for the introduction of new routes, expansion of existing services or the discontinuation of underperforming routes;
Constant analysis of flight schedules and recommendations for capacity management, especially during peak demand periods and special events;
Work with franchise partners to develop and enhance the Revenue Management Systems, ensuring company performance is aligned to industry best practices;
Deliver trading reports at various stakeholder meetings (franchisor, shareholder and senior executive).
