Jet Professionals, on behalf of our client in Europe, are looking for a Senior Director Completions Installations.

Then successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operations of the Completions Final Assembly Line with the following organizational departments: Aircraft Installation and Hangar Management, Aircraft Maintenance and the Improvement and Development Team. Ensures that safety, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability objectives are met. Develops and maintains budgets, manpower, schedules, procedures and policies to achieve maximum utilization of all resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the business plan for Final Assembly Line (FAL), in accordance with strategic plans and financial requirements - establish necessary controls and metrics to monitor progress on execution
  • Direct the development, implementation and maintenance of plans, policies and procedures necessary to achieve an effective and efficient organization. Review performance of departments and take timely corrective action to resolve deficiencies
  • Oversee the development of Final Assembly Line teams and ensure that strong successors are in place for vital positions
  • Improve the health and safety culture of the organization. Ensure that work hazards are minimized and accidents avoided
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, EASA, FAA and other governmental Repair Station regulations
  • Spearhead the continuous improvement efforts of the Completions Center. Pursue continuous improvement strategies for fabricating and installing VIP aircraft interiors that balance customer-requirements, build schedule and profitability
  • Direct the establishment of operating budgets and other controls necessary for management to determine financial and schedule performance. Ensure facility expenditures are being managed properly
  • Evaluate projected slot-plans to determine labor, material, facility, and other resource needs to achieve target labor efficiency objectives and at the same time meeting customer expectations and company commitments
  • As a key member of the Completions Leadership team, contribute to the ongoing development of the Completions strategy

Qualification/Experience

  • Demonstrated successful leadership experience within an aerospace organization (Completion Center, OEM, MRO business or similar)
  • Proven experience of managing large and complex projects. Strong project management mindset
  • Solid understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, and the regulatory framework (EASA 145). Experience of running an MRO organization for large aircrafts
  • Excellent track record of managing complex operations and achieving continuous process improvements
  • Strong communication and customer relations skills
  • University degree in business administration, economics, engineering or similar
     
  • Convincing and charismatic leadership personality
  • Excellent track record of operational improvements, quality management and LSS
  • Strategic mindset
  • Excellent business acumen - understands the key levers of Completions Centers
  • Excellent English is a must, additional languages beneficial
  • Green Belt / Black Belt Certification (desired)
  • Form 4 holder or Accountable manager for Part 145 organization
