Record order backlogs at the industry's two most successful airframers - Boeing and Airbus - mean that an awful lot of new metal will be passing down the final assembly lines on both sides of the Atlantic in years to come. That is good news for the commercial training industry, which must feed an insatiable appetite for new pilots needed to take the controls of the growing global fleet.
But while the current air travel business boom represents a great opportunity for companies and applicants alike, it also throws up significant challenges.
