The Quality and Safety Manager is responsible for the management and development of the Quality and Safety Program for ICAA ATS. Achieve these goals by the effective and efficient utilisation of people, procedures and equipment. Work as part of the Contract Management Team in delivery of the existing contract with the ICAA.

Duties and Responsibilities
-Development and management of the Quality and Safety Program for ICAA ATS and implementation of a Compliance Programme aligned to BACC operational needs
-Coordination/ Management of the team of Safety & Standards officers ensuring alignment in delivery of the Programme
-Deliver and promote the values of Serco and ensure that all staff achieve and maintain all Safety & Standards in line with appropriate regulations
-Representation of Serco / ICAA at associated bodies, governing committees and regulatory organisations as required.
-Develop potential successors to ensure continuity of service.
-To develop Safety & Standards strategy and manage the ICAA SMS
-Implement SMS and deliver and embed this work within the ICAA ATS department
-Develop learning and relationships with stakeholders in other aviation organisations to share best practice.
-Demonstrate the Serco values and Leadership competencies ensuring excellence in service and people development.
-Liaise with Training and HR to ensure required training needs with respect to Quality and Safety Standards is delivered.
-Plan, schedule and resource the Internal Audit Program.
-Ensure compliance with the ICAA Safety Management System and document control system.
-Follow up on audit observations / non-conformities with relevant managers to ensure close out of findings within agreed timescales.
-Assist other members of the team with Assurance related projects

-Tertiary level qualification in related operational field with further studies and or qualifications relevant to Safety & Standards

-Ability to prepare reports when required.

-Experience in the implementation and maintenance of a Quality/Standards and compliance programme.
-Minimum 5 years operational experience with an Air Navigation Service Provider
-ATC operational experience in an area, approach or aerodrome environment.
-Experience in managing a department and its staff to meet targeted objectives.
-Experience in building strong relationships and positively influencing clients.
-Ability to manage, direct and motivate direct reports and frontline personnel.
-Conversant with the requirements of all current relevant legislation.
-Experience in a multi-cultural environment an asset.
-Middle East experiences an asset.
