McGinley Aviation is currently looking for applicants interested in operate as one of our Senior/Purser Cabin Crew Members. You will need to be an inspirational leader and motivator, as well as being a great communicator. Self motivated, flexible and adaptable, you'll have a professional, positive attitude to work and solid commercial awareness - not to mention a finely tuned awareness to what makes for outstanding customer service.

Your role will focus on leading and motivating your crew to deliver the very highest standards. As well as ensuring the safety of passengers and compliance with stringent policies and procedures, you'll do whatever it takes to make every customer's flight a memorable one. Providing feedback on crew performance and liaising with our Inflight Services Management team will also be down to you.

In addition to having at least one year's continuous operating experience as a cabin crew member on a multicrew, jet aircraft in the last 5 years you will need:

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • 18 years of age or over
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction
  • Hold a valid EEA passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel
  • Able to provide details of 2 contactable referees
  • Able to pass a 5 - year security background check*
  • 5'2" to 6'2" tall, weight-height in proportion
  • Able to swim 25m unaided and tread water for at least 1 minute
  • Visual acuity of 6/9 (aided or unaided)
  • Able and prepared to work shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays and overnights
  • No tattoos/piercing visible when in uniform
  • Prepared to complete a medical questionnaire and medical examination
  • Be able and willing to report for duty within 90minutes of being contacted, while on reserve duty

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Senior Cabin Crew are accountable for ensuring the highest levels of performance of their crew on a given day - particularly in Safety, Customer focus and Punctuality
  • Ensuring that all aspects of safety and security are managed on board inline with the regulatory and Company standards and in compliance with current Company procedures
  • Successfully managing a team of cabin crew on board our aircraft to consistently deliver an excellent standard of performance
  • Motivating and leading the crew on board to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service

Providing accurate and timely feedback to crew regarding operational issues such as safety, punctuality and crew performance

  • Liaising with the Inflight Services Management Team with regard to operational issues
  • Specific duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Crew Operations Manual
