Role:

Management of input to and provisioning of test relevant documentation (e.g. Operational Limitation Notes, Requests for Test Services, etc.). Organizing the Engine Handling Panels in order to facilitate production of the Engine Operating Instructions. Managing changes during the test program, to ensure that test results are delivered in-line with experiment requirements. Providing of flight test engine configuration and test instructions. Management of flight test requirements throughout the flight test engine lifecycle. Facilitation and support of installed verification activities relating to flight test power plants and their associated components (dressed engines, nacelle and EBU). Collecting, consolidating and reviewing of flight test requirements. Liaising with operator of flight test platform. Conducting of engine test capability assessments. Managing flight test engines to meet the intent of the test requirements. Risk Management for flight test campaigns to reduce risks for participating staff and the test vehicles. Defining the requirements for tooling, tools, spares, and consumables, GSE, SPTE and SPME needed for installed verification tests. Ensuring the availability of test capacity, special equipment (e.g. SPTE, GSE), spares and consumables in order to meet customer and project requirements. Reporting of flight test activities. Capturing lessons identified. Updating and annually checking of flight test relevant procedures.  

 

Qualifications/ Experience:  

Degree in Engineering (Aerospace Engineering/ Gas Turbine Engineering), Engineering technology, Computer Science, or equivalent is required. Ability to create, edit documents and spreadsheets in MS Office applications. Ability to prioritize workload & work well under pressure to meet deadlines and manage business expectations. Understanding of Configuration Management principles. High level (+7 years) of problem-solving ability thorough knowledge of gas turbine engine fundamentals and functions. Excellent command of English - both written and spoken German is of advantage. EU member Passport holder.
