Air Traffic Control Officer | Glasgow Prestwick Airport
Glasgow Prestwick Airport (GPA) is a 24 hour operational Airport situated on the beautiful coastline of South Ayrshire in the West Scotland. Owned by the Scottish Government since 2013, we are now entering an exciting phase of our future led by our new non-executive board and executive team.
An exciting opportunity is available for two enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated ATCO’s, who will be working as part of a great team responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the aerodrome and its associated airspace.
Prestwick benefits from a diverse environment covering class D, E and G airspace which contains a dynamic mix of traffic from the smallest microlight to the biggest commercial aircraft.
Applicants must hold an ATCO licence issued in accordance with EASA regulation (EU340/2015) together with ADI, APP and APS ratings, (although experienced part-rated Controllers may be considered). A current EASA Class 3 medical is also a requirement.
You should be hard-working, conscientious and have good communication skills. OJTI and Assessor endorsements are desirable but not essential.
The successful candidates will receive a competitive package (depending on experience and ratings).
We are unable to accept applications from individuals who have applied within the last year.
