Situated on the beautiful coastline of Ayrshire South West Scotland, Glasgow Prestwick Airport (GPA) is a 24 hours 7 days a week operational Airport. Owned by the Scottish Government since 2013, we are now entering a new phase of our history led by a new non-executive board and executive team.
We are currently recruiting for an Air Traffic Engineer (ATE) to join our specialist team of professional engineers. Providing a safety critical engineering function within the airport business, joining this team would be a great opportunity to enable you to learn and progress your career.
You will work to ensure that a variety of navigation aids, communication, surveillance and airfield lighting systems are maintained to the highest standards together with ensuring completion of all the associated documentation. You will provide support as required to the air traffic engineering and airport team.
Working on projects from concept stages through to completion for replacement of systems associated with the provision of Air Traffic Services.
Ideally, you will be qualified to at least HND/C in Electronics, you must be flexible and have good practical problem solving skills. You must be capable of fault finding to component level and able to work within a small team environment; often under pressure.
