Boeing 737CL/NG Captains

In order to comply with short- and long-term strategies, Xiamen Airlines is looking for experienced Boeing 737CL/NG Captains and offering an outstanding remuneration package with different commuting options and career opportunities, which could hardly be matched.

Position responsibilities

The successful and highly motivated candidates are expected to conduct safe air transport operations in accordance with Xiamen Airlines procedures as well as CAAC rules and regulations.

Minimum requirements

Xiamen Airlines currently is looking for captains, who has:

  • Total Time: 5000+ hours
  • Multi-Crew/Multi-Engine Jet Time: 2000+ hours
  • PIC on B737EFIS/NG: 500+ hours or 300+ hours* (*subject to current employment)
  • Last Flown B737EFIS/NG: Within 12 months
  • Age: 55 or under at the commencement of contract
  • Passport and ATPL: From the country with diplomatic relations with PR of China
  • Medical Certificate: valid Class I
  • Medical History: No significant medical history
  • Incidents/Accidents: No history
  • Criminal Record: No criminal record
  • ICAO ELP: Level 4 or above
  • Contract terms: 3 years (extendable)

Xiamen Airlines

In July 1984, CAAC and Fujian provincial government founded Xiamen Airlines as a joint venture. It is China's first airline operating as a modern commercial enterprise as well as the only Chinese airline operating an all-Boeing fleet of nearly 160 aircraft including 8 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

In 2016, the operating revenue increased by 6.8%. The last year, Xiamen Airlines introduced into service 20 new Boeing 737, one 787-9 and also signed an order for ten more 737 and six 787-9.

By the end of 2020, Xiamen Airlines is aiming to have 268 aircraft in service, to carry up to 50 million passengers and 500,000 tons of cargo annually.
