IPTL Engine Casings
Principal Tasks: -
Defining of project objectives. Defining of boundary conditions. Checking of technical and commercial feasibility. Estimate of resources required for the project (budget, personnel planning) in coordination with the overall project management. - Issuing of a subproject plan (schedule, resources and costs) for the overall - project plan. Agreement of this project plan with internal and external interfaces, including independently negotiations with internal customers (and suppliers). - Defining, agreeing and approving work packages (incl. definition of scope, range of deliveries, target cost, defining of delivery dates). Delegating of work packages to involved employees in multifunctional teams. - Drafting and agreeing of project - structure plan for the subproject, including budget planning. Setting up of booking structures in common ERP-system. - Drafting of a concept for part control including definition of reporting structure, status report. Development of concepts for supplier audits. - Maintaining the project plan and the booking structure in accordance with the progress of the project. - Planning and leading regular reviews of progress with feedback to project management about target-performance comparison and deducing of appropriate measures in case of deviations of schedule, scope and quality, cost and risk / opportunities. - Managing risk analysis of subproject and define appropriate remedial measures with regard to the influences on other company divisions and initiate those.
Qualifications/ Experience: -
Degree-level education in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering. - Previous IPTL experience (5 years min). - Previous engine casings experience (7 years min). - Experience in the application of project management processes and techniques - Previous experience of successfully delivering projects - Solid technical and manufacturing knowledge combined with knowledge in procurement/supply chain would be of advantage. - The ability to deal with complex and ambiguous matters and to work with diverse and globally dispersed teams. - Fluent English (spoken and written). - EU member Passport holder.
