Minimum requirements are as follows:

  • 2000 hours PIC time on multi-engine, multi-crew commercial jet with MTOW 50+ tons
  • Total time 5000 hours (turboprop and jet, not including sim)
  • Additional PIC requirements:  
  • For type-rated applicants: 500 hours PIC time on type
  • For non-type rated applicants:
    • Current type 136 tons MTOW and above: 500 PIC hours on the current type
    • Current type 136 tons below: 1000 PIC hours on the current type
  • Current within 6 months (must have a valid/current PC)
  • Valid ATP license, valid passport (passport valid for at least 3 years), Class A Medical
  • ICAO English level 4 or above
  • No incidents or accidents, no license limitations
  •  Maximum age 50 for B737/A320 Captains.  Age 56 for heavy jet Captains,

Contract options available:

  1. Mode CAN  (Live in China)

Pay amounts:

Mode CAN, RSP, CMT type rated pilots:
1.  Year one and two:  $19,000/mo. 80 block hours, Pay standard:  $237.50/hr or $633/day
2.  Year three:  $20,000/mo.  80 block hours.  Pay standard:  $250/hr or $667/day
3.  Year four+:  $21,000/mo.  80 block hours.  Pay standard:  $262.50/hr or $700/day

Mode MOMO type rated pilots:
1.  Year one and two:  $13,065/mo. 1100 block hours, Pay standard:  $237.50/hr or $600/day
2.  Year three:  $13,750/mo.  110 block hours.  Pay standard:  $250/hr or $600/day
3.  Year four+:  $21,000/mo.  110 block hours.  Pay standard:  $262.50/hr or $600/day

Mode CAN, RSP, CMT for NON-RATED pilots:
1.  Year one:  $18,000/mo. 80 block hours, Pay standard:  $225.00/hr or $600/day
2.  Year two:  $19,000/mo.  80 block hours.  Pay standard:  $237.50/hr or $633/day
3.  Year three:  $20,000/mo.  80 block hours.  Pay standard:  $250.00/hr or $667/day
4.  Year four:  $21,000/mo.  80 block hours.  Pay standard:  $262.50/hr or $700/day

Mode MOMO for NON-RATED pilots:
1.  Year one:  $12,375/mo. 110 block hours, Pay standard:  $225.00/hr or $600/day
2.  Year two:  $13,065/mo.  110 block hours.  Pay standard:  $237.50/hr or $600/day
3.  Year three: $13,750/mo.  110 block hours.  Pay standard:  $250.00/hr or $600/day
4.  Year four:  $14,440/mo.  110 block hours.  Pay standard:  $262.50/hr or $600/day

Additional pay components:

$6,000 per year safety bonus

Housing allowance $830/mo for those who choose Mode CAN

In lieu of annual leave, MOMO pilots receive standard payment:  Up to $7,200 for the first year, up to $12,000 thereafter.

Training Pay:
Phase 1:  New employee training: $200 per day

Phase 2:  Ground school $400 per day

Phase 3:  Line Training $400 per day
