Principle Tasks:  

Develop troubleshooting and maintenance concepts for engines and aircraft components in order to maintain reliability expectations and to optimise cost efficiency Ensure timely reporting of significant events to internal and external stakeholders, communicate and collaborate closely with project teams, design units, aviation authorities as well as aircraft manufacturers and their customers Investigate and analyse service events (incl. safety and reliability aspects) for all in-service aerospace engines, setup and run IPTs with relevant experts, identify root causes and implement corrective actions considering customer and business requirements with regards to time frame and operational burden Assess proactively fleet and component reliability to support continuous product enhancement for customer satisfaction and business expectation Ensure appropriate service data capture and knowledge management within the team and beyond to improve our products and optimise future design solutions (design for services) Ensure compliance with requirements for continued airworthiness, meeting customer expectations and adherence to technical and business requirements specified by the project departments Perform life cycle cost analyses and trade studies to quantify the impact of changes in design, maintenance practices or operational procedures Extract actionable insights from available data using statistics, data mining and database techniques in order to quantify/understand fleet experience, system performance and asset health.


Engineering degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Sound knowledge (+ 5 years) on functionality of engine components and systems, understanding of engine controls. Experience in leading multi-discipline teams and programme management. Experience with engine documentation (manuals, service bulletins, ADs), airworthiness and safety requirements on engine and aircraft level appreciated. Good level of customer focus, commitment and assertiveness. Well-developed communication and team skills. Fluent spoken and written English.  EU member Passport holder.
