Skill Specification Summary

Professional Engineering or relevant management qualification, with 10+ years of experience in an engineering role in commercial aviation, EASA, OR Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Airframe & Power plant (A&P) qualification or equivalent, with proven years of maintenance and engineering experience in commercial aviation.

10+ years of experience in Project Management to include technical knowledge of aircraft lease and finance agreements.

Experience in all aspects of aircraft transitions - aircraft inspections, mid lease inspections, EOL, redelivery process, repossessions and management of aircrafts during maintenance event.

Demonstrated working knowledge of aviation regulatory affairs together with a detailed knowledge of associated certification requirements for FAA, EASA and other applicable regulatory environments. 

Competent to access required websites (e.g. manufacturers sites and FAA, EASA and equivalent sites)

Strong Computer skills with proficiency in general business and web based applications as well as the use of Word, Excel, Pivot tables, GANTT charts and PowerPoint applications. Client portfolio aircraft systems.

Desired Experience

Ability to develop strong working relationships with local service providers including MRO's and other technical contractors to support technical activity in the region.

Experienced managing lease transaction technical activity during account restructuring and   repossession events.

Ability to interface at all levels within the assigned company regarding factors affecting regional technical strategy.


Formal technical training (licensed engineer, technical certification)

Minimum of 10 years work experience in aircraft line maintenance, heavy maintenance or maintenance planning

Fluency in English (both written and verbal)

Be prepared to travel internationally and often at short notice.  Regional legal right to work and visa rules apply.
