Senior Principle Life Cycle Engineer (Aero Engines) Systems Safety & Reliability

 

The Role

·         Conduct Safety & Reliability assessments for engine control systems and/or the complete power-plant at different phases of the development life cycle (e.g. FHA, PSSA, FMECA, CMA, PRA, ZSA, SSA, Time Limited Dispatch (TLD) analyses).

·         Assess specific design solutions/architectures to evaluate their impact on safety & reliability.

·         Coordinate with internal and external customers, suppliers and regulatory authorities on Safety & Reliability matters.

·         Develop improvements in tools, methods and processes.

 

Essential Requirements

·         Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, Electronic Engineering or other Life Cycle Engineering related field.

·         Good understanding proven experience  of the construction and operation of aerospace propulsion systems.

·         Good command of standard safety & reliability analysis methods   including FTA, FMECA, Event Tree Analysis and Reliability Block Diagrams.

·         Relevant working experience  conducting safety analyses following ARP-4761, ARP-4754A or with conducting safety analyses on FADEC systems, including Time Limited Dispatch assessments following ARP-5107, will be positively valued.

·         Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent spoken and written English.

·         EU member Passport holder.
