Business Manager North
Permanent, Full Time

At Airways we are responsible for the safe control of air traffic across 30 million square kilometres of airspace. Our air traffic controllers work from our radar centre in Christchurch, our Oceanic Control centre in Auckland, and in 17 control towers throughout the country. Outside of New Zealand, we partner with some of our industry’s best aviation experts. We’ve delivered world-leading aviation solutions in over 65 countries, through leading edge thinking, nimble execution and strong collaboration.

We are at the heart of innovation and changes in the aviation industry and currently seeking a Manager to join our leadership team to help us on our journey. We have an opportunity for an experienced leader to join our Service Delivery team based in Auckland, responsible for seven of our Regional Towers.

Our people are the heart of our organisation - Our Business Managers lead our people to deliver excellence in safe, efficient and innovative air traffic services across our Tower locations. Hands-on people leadership to ensure operational performance to meet our customer’s current and future needs will form a core component of your day. Prime airport customer relationship management, and the identification and progression of new commercial opportunities are also core components of the role. You will make this role your own through successfully implementing change and leading continuous improvement (safety, services, processes, projects – this role has it all!).

Your background will ideally include experience in successfully managing multiple control tower locations or ATS operational sites with direct responsibility for commercial planning and customer engagement.

Ready for your next challenge? Join us on our journey and take the opportunity to make this leadership role your own. Apply online today by clicking on the 'Apply' button.
