Test Bench Mechanic (m/f/d) – Ref. JR-0020032
Job Profile:
The incumbent (m/f/d) is responsible for the following tasks:
Mechanical assembly and modification of hot-fire test benches for the development, qualification, and acceptance testing of chemical propulsion systems
Execution of various mechanical tasks on test bench components (e.g., vacuum systems)
Fueling and defueling operations, including implementation of appropriate safety measures
Installation of engines into the test facility
Adjustment of mechanical test parameters before, during, and after testing
Post-test removal of the test specimen, decontamination, and assessment of decontamination levels
Conducting cleanliness inspections on systems and assemblies
Flow rate measurements on orifice test benches
Pressure and leak testing of components
Maintenance and repair of equipment and systems
Documentation of processes
Developing ideas for process and test bench equipment improvements
Personal Requirements:
Good communication skills to ensure the flow of information
Ability to integrate into a team
High level of responsibility, resilience, and organizational skills
Vocational Training:
Vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic (Industriemechaniker/in) or
Vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician (Mechatroniker/in) or
Comparable qualification (minimum vocational training level)
Professional Experience:
At least 2 years of professional experience
IT Skills:
In-depth knowledge of MS Office applications
Language Skills:
German: Business fluent
